Somehow, I have found the courage to walk a fine line between the edge of a cliff and the backdrop of a paradise, and every day I’ve been lucky to feel the sweetness of what is.
It’s the small things, like a stranger’s dog that jumped and sat on my lap as I was putting shoes on after a workout class today. It’s a sweetness that lingers over my heart where there was once unbearable pain that I didn’t know how to hold.
I know that life comes with its own ups and downs and we are limited in many dimensions. I am surprised at my own never-ending childish outlook believing that bright days lie ahead, even when I may have less days left than what I have lived.
Somehow, I have found the courage to keep going, because I believe in one thing, that I will live a proud life, one in which I’d have loved and lived to the fullest without fear :)
Big thanks to Joey for the inspiration, a phenomenal yoga teacher and a master of many talents, who also knows how to crack a joke like a 3rd grader.
